Reflection upon Anti-Bullying week
Anti bullying week went genuinely successful for the most part and was obviously a really great encounter in terms of leadership skills. I actually used various styles and took the mistakes I actually made from father or mother open night time night and tried to improve. There were a lot of advantages and disadvantages and many things to improve on pertaining to next time nevertheless that is to be expected.
Firstly, several positive points that occurred were the group work. My group and I had been doing lovato statistics which was pretty simple so carrying out the research and knowing who was doing that which was pretty conveniently defined. I had to do the announcement pertaining to the group and this was one of the jobs I was given, it went good although I was anxious when I was speaking since I was likely to be been told by everyone in the school but it really just made myself more confident in speaking. My own other group members acquired roles as well like who was going to do the kahoot queries and the photographs but in the conclusion everyone understood what they were doing so that came together and was effective in the end. A few negatives that occurred were time administration. Everyone understood what they were doing but we were not really applying our period effectively through the entire week. The majority of us left each of our work until the last tiny and started out panicking although we had a lot of time to prepare, we just did not use it successfully. For example , in regards to putting every thing on the bristol board, we weren’t sure what is going in every section or how it must be laid out which will lead to a lot of unnecessary issue.
The leadership models I utilized were primarily authoritarian during all of the group work. Used to do this mainly because when it came to a final parts of placing everything on the bristol table and how it had been going to always be laid out, I had developed ideas that we made sure had to be heard. Everybody wasn’t certain of where everything had to be outlined but I took effort and came across it on my own and presented it to my group in an severe type approach. This received the job done in the end which has been all that genuinely mattered. Once we were in the matrix, I mostly was managing the kahoot inside the cafeteria and it gone well. It absolutely was really good from the things i thought and i believe I did a great job at managing this since I had fashioned to conquer the people with inappropriate names and I needed to make sure almost everything was working well and telling people to join this.
General, there were more positives than negatives during Anti Lovato week. I feel I have improved vastly via before and took the feedback via previous delivering presentations and utilized my knowledge sufficiently. It was a group task so there were variations of what management styles were employed when compared with when I was by myself through the Grade 8’s tour. It was a great encounter and I look ahead to the next one.
