He stated, “The poor man experienced nothing, apart from one very little ewe lamb which he previously bought and nourished, and it grew up together with him and together with his children. This ate of his personal food and drank by his own cup and lay in the bosom, and it was such as a daughter to him” (2 Samuel doze: 3). We also find out that “not one curly hair, neither divisa, shall be lost” from the vegetation and animals God has established (see Cortge and Contrat 29: 23-25). God in addition has promised he “will get them to to lie down safely” in the last days (Hosea 2: 18).

Most likely most going, though, can be found in Jesus’s teachings of the sparrows: “Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and never one of them can be forgotten before God? inch (Luke 12: 5). In case the sparrows aren’t forgotten, how come would God forget any other animal?

Pets were made in the same particles as human beings and have the inhale of life in these people as we do, but Our god made males and females in His individual image and entrusted them with the responsibility of overseeing, protecting, and enjoying the rest of His creation. Since animals cannot reason and make meaningful decisions, they are really not included in the salvation Our god has provided to humans. That Joseph Cruz believed in the salvation of animals can be substantiated by a statement he made regarding creature life: “Says one, ‘I cannot believe in the salvation of critters. ‘ Any man would you tell you this may not be, would tell you that the revelations are not accurate. John noticed the words from the beast offering glory to God, and understood them” (Documentary Good the House of worship, vol. 5).

Recognized apostle and prominent gospel scholar Generic R. McConkie was likewise of the thoughts and opinions that family pets, and all kinds of life, happen to be eternal. “Animals, birds, fowls, fishes, vegetation, and all forms of life sit on an designated sphere and play a great eternal position in the wonderful plan of creation, redemption, and solution. They were almost all created as spirit entities in pre-existence” (Mormon Doctrine, 1966).
