He blames beating his daughter on Tom Robinson, and this individual blames Atticus for taking benefit of him. Not only does he nothing like taking fault, but he also by no means confronts his problems head on. He would rather harass poor a woman than confront Atticus.

In addition to being hurtful and feckless, Bob Ewell is a very vengeful person. There are plenty of examples of him taking unnecessary revenge on various other people. The first is Mary Robinson, If perhaps Ewell acquired come home to determine his little girl seducing a black guy, he could have let Mary go. Even so Bob Ewell accused Ben of raping her intended for revenge. Different examples of his vengefulness happen to be his tries to take payback on those who took portion in his trial.

This depends on his confrontation with Atticus when he curses, spits as well as threatens to him. While is his only conflict his Atticus,. his vengeful nature is usually further shown by his willingness to harass an undesirable black girl (Helen Robinson), and to deceive an old person (Judge Tailor). His last attempt at vengeance is not against Atticus, but against his children.
