You cannot find any male equivalent of Glucose Cane in a few Like it Warm. Unlike the unequivocally feminine Sugar Cane, neither Joe nor Jerry plays the role with the cad or maybe the cowboy. In fact , Joe shows genuine feelings and looking after Sugar while his thoughts for her deepen. Joe and Jerry, like Sugar Cane, are music artists. All three will be therefore described as cultural equals in spite of gender.
Sexuality and libido are cared for differently in Some Like it Hot. The key moments in Some Want it Hot with allusions to homosexuality would be the ones in which Osgood look for Daphne.
