Discussion
This research is to assess kidney filtration by using simple filtration system. From this experiment, the protein, blood sugar and starch were used as tested substances. The method is repeated as the first try things out was as standard remedy for second experiment. One of many test pipe is particular, which was evaluation tube some. It was used as common solution pertaining to test tube 1, test out tube 2 and evaluation tube a few. Among the analyzed substances, some of the compound that passes the filter paper while some did not. Protein and sugar able to go through the filtration system paper although starch are unable to passed through the filter paper. Starch was a big molecule compound therefore it cannot passed through filter newspaper which was semi-permeable. Protein and glucose in a position to pass through the filter paper because they were smaller in comparison to starch. The results were discovered and noted after the test. The color of intensity just before filtration and after filtration differs from the others. The color were different since the filtrate had been more than or less than the tested chemicals before purification. The color that observed is comparable for substances before purification and after purification, it were difficult to judge the color. The colour should use a color graph to judge to get more accuracy. The filtration experiment was like kidney function. The tested substances were while molecule in the kidney that needed to filter. The filtration paper was semi-permeable that was enjoyed kidney membrane that was also semi-permeable. The color strength of test out tube ahead of filtration along with filtration had been the chemicals or elements in the kidney that needed for filtration. Nephron is the fundamental functional device of a kidney. Each nephron was made up of Bowman’s pills, glomerulus, proximal convoluted tubule, the Cycle of Henle, distal convoluted tubule and collecting duct. Glomerulus was a network of capillary enclosed by the Bowman’s capsule. The afferent arteriole supplied the blood into the glomerulus, the efferent arterioles carried blood via glomerulus into second capillary network around the proximal convoluted tubule. Proximal convoluted tubule reabsorbed ions, normal water and nutrition. The Trap of Henle has climbing down limb and ascending arm or leg. Descending arm or leg of Trap of Henle only permeable to water, water can diffused away by osmosis but salt ions, potassium ions and chlorine ions did not actively pumped out. The ascending limb of Loop of Henle simply permeable to salt, sodium ions, potassium ions and chlorine ions were positively pumped out but drinking water did not dissipated out by simply osmosis. This particular, sodium ions, potassium ions, chlorine ions were dissipated into vasa recta and carried away. Éloigné convoluted tubule reabsorbed NaCl and HCO3-, the potassium ions and hydrogen ions were actively pumped out. The collecting duct reabsorbed water simply by osmosis as well as the amount of water was regulated by antidiuretic body hormone (ADH). Mammals needed to get rid of the excretory goods because in case the waste product allowed stayed at in cells, it may be poisonous or dangerous to cellular material.
Conclusion
The try things out of the filtering method liked filtration system in kidney may not be appropriate. The color strength of prior to filtration after filtration had been too identical so the color intensity may well judge incorrect. The try things out should repeated few times and used a color chart to judge the color from the solution.
