Mary Shelleys Frankenstein was a gothic work of literary works written through the height of the Romantic Eraa period in the 19th hundred years when her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley and his friends Leigh Hunt and God Byron were writing traditional poetry packed with passion that spurned the traditional doctrines with the Old Globe and declined the over-emphasis on Purpose of the Enlightenment. As E. Michael Roberts, has known, however , their orientation would still be rooted within a faithless and naturalistic approach to life. They had no interest in the salvation story of the Old World or perhaps its religion.
