Jungle Fever explores the idea of interracial relationships and how they may be viewed by community. The film, like much of Lee’s cinematic cannon, comments about limitations which might be imposed with an individual due to their race or social status. As is observed in other motion pictures, Lee shows the substance abuse and problems that have infiltrated the community, which Lee contends are damaging the ethics of society.
