HEWLETT PACKARD announced changes to its table of owners. Raymond M. Lane features decided to step down as chairman with the board, to be replaced with an interim basis by Ralph V. Whitworth. The table is commencing a search for any permanent non-executive board chairman. In addition , John H. Hammergren and G. Kennedy Thompson, after 8-10 and eight years of service to HP stockholders, respectively, have decided to leave the table.
Both company directors will continue to serve until the May plank meeting. The board is definitely commencing research online for two or even more new independent directors.
